Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore, is an amazing Hollywood actress and author who's talents have brought her critical acclaim and recognition. Sagittarius. She was born in North Carolina, on 3rd December, 1960. She's among the three oldest children to Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a paratrooper. Her parents are English, Scottish and of mixed descent. Because of her father's work, the Moore family often relocated and she was unable to form friendships or maintain ones. Moore's family moved from the United States to Germany and she went to Frankfurt American High School, in which her first roles were on stage in plays. In 1983 she received the Master of Fine Arts from Boston University. After graduating, Moore moved to New York where she started her career in off-Broadway theater. Her career in theater began in New York with Off-Broadway Theater following her graduation. In an episode of The Edge of Night in 1985, Moore appeared in her first on-screen appearance. She played the roles of Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in As the World Changes the show that marked her debut. She was on this show up to 1988, and she won the Daytime Emmy Award for her performance. Her debut film appearance came in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. The movie she later called a bad budget production. Short Cuts was produced by Robert Altman in 1993 and 3 Women was released in 1997. The film was critically acclaimed and Moore won multiple nominations. Moore got her first leading role in Safe (1995). The casting of Steven Spielberg's Moore as the lead in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which is among the highest grossing films from 1997, marked a major change in Moore's career. The film she starred in was Magnolia (1999) that was praised by critics which earned her a SAG nod for her role. In 2002, she starred alongside her co-stars in The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman as well as Meryl Streep. Moore was also in The Forgotten (2004), Freedomland 2006, Shelter 2010, etc. Non-Stop was her film of 2014. Moore was a regular in many TV and film programs. Her most recent starring role is in When You Finish Saving the World (2022). In Hollywood, she has also become a published author for children. In 2007, she published Freckleface Strawberry, which became the New York Times bestseller. It was adapted as the basis for a musical and TV series. In 2013, she published Her Mom is A Foreigner. Moore is a renowned writer and actress. Her personal life, is therefore in the realm of the public domain. She divorced John Robin in 1995. Bart Freundlich is the father of two of her kids. Moore's world revolves around her friends, career and family.
